An old age home for gay men, perhaps the first such centre inAsia, has come up in neighbouring Narmada district of Gujarat.The old age home at Hanmenteshwar village,located on the banks of Narmadariver, was inaugurated yesterday and named after late American writer Janet, who generously donated funds for the project.

Bangkok Airways starts direct flights to Bangalore-The airline is also looking at Lucknow- for inward tourists on the Buddhism trail,New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.Bangkok Airways, a Thai private airline, has launched direct flights to Bangalore. The airline announced on Tuesday that the Bangkok-Bangalore-Bangkok service commenced from September 26.
